Judaism and Baháʼí?

While I research another interesting question, today we have the following question from Kvajat.

Did Jews create Bahais?

Kvajat

I am assuming by Bahais what you mean is the religion Baháʼí as try as I can, I have no idea what Bahais could mean otherwise. Baháʼí is a faith that was founded in Iran not so long ago which has the core belief (as far as I understand it), that every religion isn’t “correct” but they are all the path to the one single G’d – in other words, all religions are just different ways we view things but everyone worships the same G’d.

The faith itself was founded by Baháʼu’lláh and, as far as I know, was not Jewish nor was any Jews involved in the founding of the religion. There were many Jews in Iran that converted to the religion but to answer the question – No, Jews did not create the Baháʼí faith but many in Iran did convert to it.

If I am wrong, or if you mean something else, please do let me know in the comments – always happy to learn!
