Granite and Judaism

Today’s question is as follows.

Greetings,

I was wondering if you could please perhaps assist me with an enquiry. Does granite have any significance or meaning within your religion?

Any information you are able to provide will be greatly appreciated.

This is an interesting question but sadly one I don’t really have an answer for without knowing why you are wondering. Within Judaism, you may be surprised just how important stones are such as the stone Abraham takes his son, the Western Wall is “nothing more” than stone and more examples. You will find stones are often used as well with graves as they are ever-lasting over flowers and something that is a permanent mark.

So if you are reading this please do post a comment below (I should see it but this website gets spammed daily so I may miss it) with the context why and I am happy to do some research for you but otherwise I’m afraid I am unable to answer this.
